OlyBet, part of the Olympic Entertainment Group, has been confirmed as the Title Sponsor for the 2023 FIM Speedway GP of Latvia.

Following a six-year absence, the OlyBet 2023 FIM Speedway GP of Latvia will return for the 100th anniversary of the sport.

Laura Manciet, FIM Speedway Championships Director, said: “It is a pleasure to join forces with OlyBet for our Riga event, and we thank them for being part of this much-anticipated weekend.

“The OlyBet FIM Speedway GP of Riga – Latvia is the biggest speedway event staged in the Baltic region over six years, featuring the world’s top riders battling for World Championship points as the series approaches its climax.

“This will be a special weekend of racing, also featuring FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 for the sport’s top under-21 teams, and we look forward to welcoming OlyBet for two nights of epic racing in Riga next month.”

The event will run from 11-12 August at the CSDD Biķernieki Stadium, Riga.

Corey Plummer, OlyBet and Olympic Entertainment Group Chairman and CEO, said: “We are thrilled to partner with FIM Speedway GP to support the return of FIM Speedway to Latvia.

“The top championship riders and top under-21’s will showcase this exciting and unique racing competition live in Riga, on local channels and on Eurosport’s network.

“OlyBet TV, OlyBet Sports Bars and Olympic Entertainment’s Voodoo casino will also feature special race events and promotions during the event days.”

The OlyBet 2023 FIM Speedway GP will be the seventh stage of the World Speedway Championship (SPG) season.

Plummer continues: “I continue to be excited about the opportunities that OlyBet brings to sports fans in Latvia and everywhere OlyBet operates.”
