The launch comes in the middle of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the world’s biggest sporting event, which is sure to draw people to the platform. Betano also serves as one of the Qatar tournament’s regional supporters for Europe.
Furthermore, the new seasons of the NBA, NHL and NFL are all underway, too – making this an ideal moment to launch for the sports betting operator.
Betano is a subsidiary of Kaizen Gaming, which operates mainly in European and LatAm markets. Meanwhile, alongside its portfolio of 30 different sports, the business has over 1,000 casino games on offer to its customers – which it is now offering to new customers in Ontario.
Kaizen Gaming’s CCO Julio Iglesias Hernando commented on the launch: “We are excited to enter a new market, but also a new territory for Betano and Kaizen Gaming.
“The competition is intense in Ontario, but we are confident that with our solid product offering, backed by our proprietary technology, we will offer a superior sports betting and gaming experience to millions of Canadians.”
In other news, Kaizen Gaming recently announced it had signed a deal with Red Dealer Studios, which saw the latter’s gaming portfolio launch through Kaizen in Romania and Greece.
Kaizen Gaming Live Casino Manager Christos Mavridis commented on the partnership at the time: “Real Dealer is the real deal. Its cinematic RNG casino games are like nothing we have seen in the market before and deliver unprecedented levels of fun and excitement.”
