The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) has given its go ahead for the Irish operator to launch PokerStars, PokerStars Sports and PokerStars Casino in the Mediterranean nation.
In July 2021, Flutter received a local licence from the HGC, permitting it to bring the brands to Greek players via a new domain established specifically for the country, PokerStars.GR.
Its platform features a range of real and play money poker games and tournaments, as well as casino titles and sports betting markets. Flutter also said several promotions are available.
This is all accessible on the web, as well as by a desktop, tablet and mobile app for both iOS and Android.

With the HGC’s approval, Greece has become the latest front in Flutter’s ongoing expansion across Europe and the world.
The operator’s reach now extends from its Irish homeland westward, across the Atlantic to the USA via its FanDuel Group, and east, to Greece, and with its acquisition of Italy’s Sisal, Turkey.
Flutter also owns Australian brand Sportsbet, giving it a presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
