In close association with Novomatic Africa, Greentube has made its debut in the South African market through a new content partnership with Sunbet.
The move aims to enhance Sunbet’s player offerings in the nation, as it will now distribute Greentube’s slot portfolio titles through its own platform. Further, Sunbet is also set to integrate engagement and retention tools – as well as promotional campaigns – as part of the deal.
Last summer, Sunbet helped to welcome Pariplay into the South African market, in a deal that saw the integration of Wizard Games titles to its platform.
Simon Gregory, CEO at Sunbet, spoke on the Greentube partnership, saying: “Greentube’s reputation precedes it and so we’re extremely confident of the content we’ll be able to debut to our players. We pride ourselves on the premium products we make available and Greentube’s slots will go a long way to maintaining that pursuit of excellence.”
For Greentube, this development also spells the launch of Greentube Mynt – the company’s new technology stack which is set to be utilised for gaming development, production and supply.
Last month, Greentube went live in Ontario in collaboration with Caesars, as well as announcing a new content deal with NetBet.
Discussing the supplier’s entry into the South African market, Markus Antl, Director of Global Sales and Key Account Management at Greentube, said: “Launching in South Africa is a milestone for Greentube and we couldn’t have picked a more prestigious partner than Sunbet. Our content will benefit from the experience and local knowledge of such an established operator with a wide customer base.
“We’re looking forward to introducing our games to a new audience in another territory and are especially thrilled to do so via our Greentube Mynt platform.”
