Gentoo (formerly known as GiG Media) has added two of its websites, Casinoonline.dk and Casinon.com, to the Quality Mark Regulatory Assurance (QMRA) program.
As part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its regulatory framework, Gentoo decided earlier this year that all its websites operating in markets serviced by QMRA would need to adhere to the program’s standards.
The recent inclusion of Casinoonline.dk and Casinon.com marks the continuation of this initiative and ensures that both of the websites meet all of QMRA’s stringent compliance requirements.
Commenting on this development, Milorad Matejic, COO of Gentoo, stated: “Gentoo is pleased to cooperate with QMRA in enhancing our compliance initiatives.
“Adhering to their standards on our websites where QMRA services the market demonstrates to the market our commitment to compliance at Gentoo.”
Steven Vrolijk, Director of QMRA, added: “We are happy about the consistent approach by Gentoo; now a member with numerous websites in various jurisdictions. We are looking forward to our next planned steps!”
This news comes as QMRA has been gaining traction across Europe, with over 90 affiliates now adopting its standards.
Originally an extension of the Dutch Quality Mark KVA, QMRA has been adopted in countries including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Norway and the UK since its launch in February 2024.
Last week, QMRA completed a review of the Aftonbladet Casinoguiden website, a platform in the Swedish market. The website, which receives approximately 21 million organic searches in Sweden, will now display the QMRA mark, indicating its compliance with advertising and regulatory standards.
