Sportradar to integrate betting features into NBA League Pass

NBA LeagueListen To Article

Sportradar, in collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA), has introduced an integrated betting experience within NBA League Pass. The new betting experience is facilitated by EmBet, Sportradar’s over-the-top (OTT) solution.

This partnership brings a range of sports betting features – including point spreads, over/unders and money lines – directly into the NBA’s live streaming platform, a move that aims to enhance the in-play betting experience for fans.

Off the back of this development, sports fans can now opt in to access and select bets directly on NBA League Pass. Upon deciding to place a bet, users will be directed to the NBA’s official betting partners, FanDuel or DraftKings, through an embedded link.

Patrick Mostboeck, Sportradar SVP of Audiovisual, commented: “EmBet is an exciting innovation for NBA fans, making in-play betting more engaging and immersive.

“Through our exclusive partnership with the NBA, we’re committed to developing next-generation, value-added products and services, like EmBet, to drive fan and bettor engagement.”

Scott Kaufman-Ross, NBA EVP of Media and Gaming, added: “Integrating EmBet is consistent with the NBA’s vision to create hyper-personalised and customised viewing experiences within NBA games.

“For NBA fans who want to wager on our games during live action, they can now elect to receive contextualised betting information directly on NBA League Pass.”

Looking ahead, Sportradar plans to further enhance user engagement and retention by offering interactive content such as advanced team and player insights, polls, voting and trivia widgets.
