The app, which is now live in three states, allows users to watch and wager on horses at over 200 tracks worldwide. Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream Park and Aqueduct Racetrack are on the list of tracks.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt commented: “Today’s launch in Florida and Louisiana sets the stage for BetMGM to engage with a new customer base in the South.
“The BetMGM Horse Racing app is a key part of our market expansion plans and will accelerate our continued growth into 2022.”
The BetMGM Horse Racing app uses NYRA Bets’ capabilities to allow customers to place bets online. NYRA Bets is the official wagering platform of the New York Racing Association and a provider of horseracing content in the US.
The app offers daily horseracing content, live streaming video, race replays and betting opportunities on numerous events in the US, including the Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes, the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course, Pegasus World Cup and the Breeders’ Cup World Championship.
In addition, users have full access to a live stream of races from international events like Royal Ascot, Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Melbourne Cup and The Grand National.
Users from Florida, Louisiana and Ohio can download the BetMGM Horse Racing app, which is available on both iOS and Android devices.
BetMGM continues its expansion to new areas and continues to focus on responsible gaming education. The sports betting and gaming company also provides recourses to help customers play responsibly.
