In a timely launch that coincides with the upcoming Super Bowl, taking place on Sunday 13 February, BetMGM is now able to accept wagers through 12 kiosks and five betting windows at the resort, which is located in the island’s capital city of San Juan.

The betting operator is also planning to launch its mobile betting app in Puerto Rico, while a full-scale retail sportsbook is scheduled to open at La Concha Resort later in 2022.

BetMGM was created from a partnership between Entain and MGM Resorts International, in April 2018, and currently operates in 18 states across the United States.
La Concha Resort, which houses the always-open Casino del Mar, features 238 Caribbean-facing rooms, and a further 235 suites. The casino features slots, as well as table games such as blackjack, craps, poker and roulette.
