The Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers NBA matchup will be covered by BetCast on Monday 7 March, a programme that will purportedly provide sports wagering-focused insights.
PointsBet will supply data to power BetCast’s live, on-screen odds, including spread, over/under and moving money lines.
As part of the BetCast, the NBC Sports Predictor app, which is supported by PointsBet, will host a special ‘Pick n’ Roll’ contest for the game, with a guaranteed $50,000 jackpot.
BetCast viewers will also be able to select PointsBet’s “Live Same Game Parlay” options to place wagers while tracking odds, player performance and team statistics in real-time.
The telecast will feature alternate announcers who will reportedly offer commentary centred around sports betting. NBC Sports Edge host Sara Perlman will be joined by NBC Sports Philadelphia’s 76ers analyst Jim Lynam, NBC Sports Chicago’s Bulls analyst Kendall Gill and Jay Croucher, Head Oddsmaker at PointsBet.
‘Bet the Edge GameTime’, a unique edition of the podcast hosted by Matt Bernier and Drew Dinsick, will provide further coverage of the match leading into the game on NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus.
PointsBet invited viewers to engage with BetCast on social media, by following along and interacting with @NBCSChicago, @NBCSPhilly and @PointsBetUSA on Twitter.
Traditional live coverage of the Bulls-76ers matchup will be presented on NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Philadelphia, respectively.
This news comes after PointsBet broke new ground by incorporating its odds integration into a Super Bowl broadcast.
