The skill-based fantasy sports operator, PrizePicks, has signed an agreement with the Major League Soccer (MLS) club.
The operator offers a variety of sports leagues, from the National Football League and MLS to esports, including League of Legends and Counter-Strike.
Both the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons have also partnered with PrizePicks in recent years, as the operator continues to expand into the state.
Atlanta United debuted in 2017 and won the MLS Cup in 2018.
PrizePicks Co-Founder & CEO, Adam Wexler, said: “Ever since Atlanta United captured the city’s heart with the first professional championship in a generation, we knew it was only a matter of time before we brought our two brands together.
“Atlanta United consistently leads the league in attendance year after year and we are excited for their fanbase to gain an affinity for our fantasy sports platform.”
Branding from PrizePicks will be featured in the home stadium of Atlanta United, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, for all of the club’s home games.
The capacity for Atlanta United games at this stadium can exceed over 70,000 attendants for major games such as finals, with the average attendance across the 2021 season totalling around 44,000 fans.
Atlanta Club President and CEO, Garth Lagerwey, said: “We’re excited to welcome PrizePicks as a Proud Partner of Atlanta United.”
“Our goal of providing a premium fan experience through innovative technology coupled with their already established presence in the Atlanta market made this partnership a natural fit.”
