Dallas Wings at New York Liberty
- Leg 1: New York Liberty -14 (-110)
- Leg 2: Over 175 Total Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Breanna Stewart Over 21.5 Points (-102)
The Wings (6-20) travel to meet the Liberty (23-4) in a game that is a tremendous mismatch. Dallas is tied for the fewest amount of victories in the W, with the Los Angeles Sparks and Washington Mystics also tied with a league-low six victories. Dallas is just 2-12 on the road this season, too, and facing the team with the league’s best record isn’t likely to be the elixir to cure their ills.
The Wings showed some decent offense in Friday’s game against the visiting Connecticut Sun, but they lost 109-91. Satou Sabally (shoulder) made her return to the lineup, while Maddy Siegrist (finger) will also be able to make her way back Tuesday night. Siegrist has missed the past 13 games due to a broken left index finger, but now that Dallas is getting healthier, it could be more of a problem for the opposition.
This is the first meeting of the season between these teams. The Liberty have won six games in a row, while also covering each of those outings dating back to July 10. Against the Western Conference, the Liberty have won five regular-season games in a row against Western Conference opponents, too.
For the Wings, they’re a dismal 1-8 against the spread (ATS) in the past nine outings, and 2-11 ATS in the past 13 games. On the road, Dallas has failed to cover the past seven games since a cover in Minnesota on June 17.
Despite the fact the Wings are getting healthier, you have to back the red-hot Liberty against the number until they cool down, and the Wings start to cover.
We’ll roll with the Over, too, as the total has gone high in six of the past seven games while going 13-4 in the past 17 outings. It’s mostly because the Wings are a disaster defensively, ranking dead-last with 90.5 points per game allowed, and a 47.5% defensive field-goal percentage. The Wings are also 11th in defensive 3-pointer percentage at 35.7%.
For player props, we’ll keep it simple. Breanna Stewart has racked up 19.8 points per game this season, but she should be able to roll up some big-time points against the defensively-challenged Wings. Go with B-Stew to score 22 or more points.

Seattle Storm at Washington Mystics
- Leg 1: Seattle Storm -6.5 (-112)
- Leg 2: Under 161.5 Total Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Stephanie Dolson 1+ 3-Pointers Made (-580)
- Leg 4: Jewell Loyd 2+ 3-Pointers Made (-174)
The Storm (17-10) and the Mystics (6-21) meet in the nation’s capital. Washington has managed a dismal 3-10 record at home, and it has dropped four in a row. Seattle has a losing record on the road, going 6-7, but it is 9-4 in 13 tries against Eastern Conference foes.
The Storm are just one of five teams with a positive point differential this season, too, posting a plus-5.5 mark, while Washington has the 3rd-worst differential at minus-8.2 points. As such, Seattle looks like a great standalone play laying just 6.5 points. Go rather aggressively on that line, but also fold it into your SGP.
In this series, Seattle has a slight 4-3 edge straight up in the past seven meetings. However, the Storm are 4-1-1 ATS in the past six meetings since Aug. 21, 2022. This season, Seattle has been especially tough on Washington, going 2-0 SU/ATS, including a 101-69 rout last time out on May 25 at Climate Pledge Arena. In the first meeting in D.C., Seattle won 84-75 as a 4.5-point favorite on May 19.
The Storm was routed 92-75 in Indiana on Sunday, so they’re going to come into this game with a huge chip on their shoulder. Seattle has failed to cover the past four games, too, while going just 2-6 ATS in the past eight games. So, backing the Storm takes a bit of a leap of faith.
Washington has lost and failed to cover the past three games, however, while the Over and Under have alternated in each of the past eight games for the Mystics. We’re leaning low on the total, as the Under is 4-2-1 in the past seven games for Seattle, and the Under cashed in the first meeting in D.C., too.
Jewell Loyd is a good bet to bag at least two 3-pointers in this one against Washington, a team that allows the opposition to hit 35.2% from behind the arc. On the flip side, Washington hits triples at a 36.5% pace, 2nd in the W. Stephanie Dolson is one of the more underrated long-distance shooters in the league, and she’s a good bet to at least drop in one try on the Storm.
